About Me

A little bit about me….

This is my first year with Sonora ISD and I am excited to begin this new journey. I will be teaching fourth grade Science and Social Studies.  I have been teaching 8 years and I’ve met some pretty great people along the way! I taught one year in 4th grade and the rest have been in 5th grade math and science.  I am very excited to be here because I can see that the entire Sonora community truly cares about children and strives to do what is best for them.

I am originally from Odessa, Texas and I just graduated from UTPB with a Mater’s in Educational Leadership.  I cheered and graduated from Permian High School, so becoming a Bronco is an adjustment for me! I went to school at Texas Tech, so naturally, I am a huge Red Raider fan!

When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family.  I have a husband,
Jarrett, a beautiful daughter, Braylin, and two very handsome sons, Jayden and Jace. I love to read, travel, and spend time with friends.  I have been fortunate enough to work with some really awesome students who have inspired me, taught me, and kept me loving my profession each and every day.

I am looking forward to an awesome school year and getting to know everyone!
